Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your SMI Books account and your business data at any time.

From inside the app (fastest)

1. Open Help & Support from the menu.
2. Tap Delete my account… at the bottom, then Continue and Send report.

Or by email

Write to support@smibooks.in from the email you sign in with, and tell us your business name.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in account.
• Your business records stored on our servers (bills, parties, items, payments and all other entries), for every team member of that business.
• Support reports and error reports linked to your account.

Plan payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires. Copies on your own devices and in your own Google Drive backups are not touched — take a backup first if you want to keep one. We confirm by email once deletion is done, within 30 days.
